Grants and Investment for Groundbreaking Innovations by Startups and Scale-ups

• Grant of up to €2.5 million + investment of up to €10 million (or more through STEP ScaleUP)

The EIC Accelerator supports innovative startups and SMEs with scaling ambitions through grants and investments. It focuses on groundbreaking technologies with the potential for market breakthroughs. It is open to all sectors or through targeted thematic challenges.

AMALTEA

Promoting the principles of the Green Deal through smart facade technologies for the construction sector, based on AI, data, and robotics.

AMALTEA aims to integrate robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and data into the construction sector to reduce energy consumption, raw material use, and waste in buildings. The project focuses on improving safety, increasing process reliability, and enhancing product quality in order to respond to the changing needs of end users and support the objectives of the Green Deal.

EIT Culture & Creativity – Innovation Projects 2026

Up to €900,000 to scale up innovative solutions in the creative sector

EIT Culture & Creativity supports startups, scale-ups, and small and medium-sized enterprises in bringing innovative solutions in fashion, architecture, and audiovisual media to market. Projects focus on market validation, commercial scaling, and investment readiness, with an emphasis on circular materials, sustainable construction, and responsible AI.

AENAON – OC#1 Cybersecurity Technology Enhancement for Offshore Wind Energy Operators

Up to €100,000 for cybersecurity in offshore wind energy

• Up to €100,000 per participating organization (50% funding of eligible costs, lump sum)

AENAON supports organizations in testing and validating cybersecurity solutions for offshore wind energy. Projects focus on areas such as IT/OT and SCADA security, digital twins, penetration testing, incident response, and cyber resilience, with validation conducted in realistic operational environments.

EIT Health – Call for University Incubators and Entrepreneurship Support Providers

Up to €72,000 for entrepreneurship focused on early-stage healthcare innovations

EIT Health is seeking a consortium consisting of a university incubator and an entrepreneurship support provider to guide master’s and Ph.D. students in early-stage healthcare innovations. Through master classes, mentoring, and Pitch Days, participants will develop their business models, assess commercial opportunities, and work toward potential venture creation and business formation.

FORTIS – Open Call #2

Tot €250.000 voor innovatieve Human-Robot Interaction toepassingen

FORTIS supports consortia in integrating, testing, and scaling advanced Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) technologies. Projects may focus on areas such as digital twins, human-robot collaboration, extended reality (XR), intelligent task allocation, and robot localisation. The application of FORTIS technologies in new sectors, such as agriculture and healthcare, is also eligible.

FIERCE – 2nd Open Call for the Financial Support Program

FIERCE supports SMEs that use satellite and space data to develop sustainable and circular solutions. Funding can be used to access external expertise in areas such as resource efficiency, waste reduction, circular processes, and environmental monitoring. Both early-stage ideas and market-ready solutions are eligible.

I3FLOAT – 1st Open Call

Up to €60,000 for innovative technologies in floating offshore wind energy

I3FLOAT supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the development and upscaling of innovative technologies for floating offshore wind energy. Projects focus on specific industrial challenges or cross-sector solutions at TRL 6–8. Selected companies receive funding and guidance on market development, investments, and international collaboration.
