<p>On 9 and 10 June, the European network of Digital Innovation Hubs gathered in Brussels for the annual EDIH Summit 2026. Bringing together more than 770 participants from across Europe, the event focused on knowledge exchange, collaboration and accelerating the digital transformation of European businesses.</p><p>Representing EDIH Boost Robotics were Vera Leonhart, Marieke Smidt, Ingrid Meijer, Robin Burghard and Farah Aziz. Through both the national and international activities of the consortium, the team actively contributed to discussions on Europe’s digital future and the role innovation hubs play in supporting businesses.</p><h2>Turning European Innovation into SME Impact</h2><p>One of the highlights of the summit was the joint session hosted by the Dutch EDIHs:</p><p><i>“From Pilot to Scale: How EDIHs Turn European AI into Real SME Deployment”</i></p><p>During the session, the Dutch Digital Innovation Hubs showcased how they support SMEs in their digital transformation journeys and the adoption of innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence.</p><p>Through practical examples, participants gained insight into how European innovations are translated into real-world applications for businesses. By providing access to expertise, testing facilities, training opportunities and funding support, EDIHs help SMEs adopt new technologies, improve processes and strengthen their competitiveness.</p><h2>Building New Connections Across Europe</h2><p>In addition to the plenary sessions and workshops, the summit provided valuable opportunities to strengthen existing partnerships and establish new connections. EDIH Boost Robotics met with organisations such as DIH4CAT and Digital Hub Baden-Württemberg to explore future collaboration, knowledge exchange and joint initiatives.</p><p>These international connections are highly valuable for entrepreneurs and innovators. By linking regional innovation ecosystems across Europe, new opportunities emerge for technology development, market access and international cooperation.</p><blockquote><p>Innovation does not stop at national borders.
