Four entrepreneurs from East Netherlands will take steps towards a greener future with the help of the EENergy grant. The EENergy grant offers financial support for energy-saving initiatives, made possible by the EU. 12 Dutch companies have been awarded the grant worth €10,000, in the East Netherlands they are: Nijhuis MiTech, Ter Hart, Neuteboom Coffeeroasters and De Nooij Stainless.In cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the entrepreneurs have drawn up an ambitious action plan to improve their energy efficiency. Each initiative aims to achieve at least 5% energy savings, measured in terms of energy consumption in kWh. The planned activities range from installing energy-efficient equipment to optimising production processes.Currently, the EENergy call is closed, but it will reopen on a limited basis in autumn 2024.
